UPDATE: This was written in 2014. A lot has changed since then. I should update this page sometime.
My name is Loye Young. Welcome to my site.
I am a professional writer, website developer, and Linux engineer with over 20 years of technology experience. I am especially interested in helping others use the latest Internet technology to promote their businesses and to spread the Catholic faith.
I currently live in San Antonio, Texas. I am engaged to be married to Sue Ellen Miller, probably in April 2015.
I am grateful to be a Roman Catholic since 2005 and attend Holy Spirit Church. As of August 8, 2014, my fiancé and I are novices in the Third Order of Preachers (also known as the “Lay Fraternities of St. Dominic”). I blog about the Catholic faith at TexasPreacher.org.
I graduated high school from Paris High School in Paris, Texas in 1980. I received my Bachelor of Business Administration (Finance) degree in 1985 from The University of Texas at Austin. I was awarded a doctorate in law in 1988 from The University of Texas School of Law.
